16-day forecast
Costa Adeje weather explained
Costa Adeje is on the sunny, sheltered south-west coast of Tenerife. The north of the island catches the cloud brought by the trade winds, while the south usually stays drier and brighter. Within Adeje itself, the coast and the hills can still differ on the same day.
Is the weather the same all over Costa Adeje?
No. The coast is usually sunnier and warmer than Adeje town, which sits higher up the hill and often has more cloud. That is why this page lets you choose your exact area or address.
How reliable is a 16-day forecast?
The first three days are the most reliable. Days four to seven are a good guide. From day eight onwards, treat the forecast as a trend rather than a promise.
What is calima?
Calima is a hot, dusty wind from Africa. The sky turns hazy, temperatures can jump and air quality drops. It usually passes within a few days.
When is the best weather in Costa Adeje?
The south of Tenerife is mild all year. Summers are hot and dry, winters are warm by European standards, with occasional cloudy or wet days.
